I am an artist in Bellingham, WA making functional ceramic and wood art with softly geological surfaces using subtractive carving techniques, including kurinuki, whittling, turning, and throwing/altering. I combine the colors and textures of the coastal forests of the Pacific Northwest with the abstracted structural elements of Brutalism.
My studio is located within Starflower Studios in the Downtown Arts District in Bellingham, WA, where I hold workshops and participate in art walks and occasional studio tours. To view my work, you can visit Good Earth Pottery, a contemporary ceramics gallery in Bellingham’s Fairhaven neighborhood.
