Caring for pottery
My pots are safe to use in the microwave. They can be washed in the dishwasher with a mild detergent, but I recommend avoiding heavy duty detergents like Cascade, which can change the appearance of some glazes over time. Like all pottery, they are sensitive to thermal shock from rapid temperature transitions.
Caring for wooden utensils
My utensils are all made of hardwood and safe to use with food. They should be handwashed and dried immediately after washing - do not put them in the dishwasher or leave them in standing water. Oil with any food safe oil once every few months, or when the spoon begins to feel rough or dry to the touch.
